Responsibilities:

Controller responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee the National Beef Leathers financial close process including creation, posting, and reviewing journal entries

Perform general ledger account reconciliations

Track and reconcile all capital projects and fixed assets

Perform actual vs planned return analysis on all payback projects

Provide analysis as needed for revenue and expense reporting

Lead the annual budget process

Provide profit and loss projections as requested

Train backup(s) on all duties and keep them up to date on all responsibilities and processes

Additional duties as assigned

This is an on-site position. This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates for the Controller position should possess the following:

Bachelor's degree

Prior operations accounting experience

Experience working with yield and cost comparisons

Strong Excel skills

Possesses good analytical, time management, and process management skills

Must have excellent communication skills
