We are seeking a seasoned Divisional Controller for our office. This positon places you in a high-visibility position with our executive leadership and CFO.

Our headquarters in the near west suburbs of Chicago features a state-of-the-art attached warehouse facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial statement consolidation process and submit reports to supervisors.
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and internal financial reporting.
- Conduct cost accounting, focusing on shop orders and maintaining accurate cost of sales records.
- Handle external and bank audits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, supported by the Senior Accountant.
- Engage in treasury management, including bank reconciliations and maintaining fixed asset schedules.
- Lead the credit approval process, oversee AR collections, and monitor AP operations to maintain internal controls.
- Implement policies and procedures that comply with US GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial data to drive efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing accounting, either in public accounting or private industry.
- Minimum 3-4 years in a financial leadership role, preferably as a Controller.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and extensive financial knowledge spanning accounting, budgeting, controls, and reporting.
- Proficient in Excel with capabilities in using advanced functions such as IFs and VLOOKUPs.
- Proven ability to work with undefined procedures and ensure timely financial closes.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

Annual Cash Compensation: $ 130,000 - $ 155,000
