CONTROLLER

- The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Controller preparse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Controller provides financial analysis and insights to senior management to support business performance and growth initiatives.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with tax laws.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONTROLLER ROLE:
- The Controller must have their Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in financial management.
