Position Title: Controller

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Controller. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial management and leading the finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving financial performance.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for presentation to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial performance and key metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing and developing a team.
