Our client, a well-known billion dollar manufacturing firm, is seeking a Controller to join its growing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial regulations.
3. Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective SOPs to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
4. Conducting regular financial audits to identify potential risks and develop appropriate risk management strategies.
5. Collaborating with senior management to set financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
6. Supervising, training, and mentoring junior financial staff.
7. Analyzing financial data and delivering comprehensive reports to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
8. Coordinating with external auditors and managing the audit process.
9. Liaising with legal and financial advisors to ensure all financial operations are legally compliant.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. CPA preferred.
3. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector,.
4. Extensive knowledge of GAAP.
5. Proven experience in developing and implementing SOPs.
6. Strong financial reporting skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
