Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Financial Controller to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your financial acumen and leadership skills in a role that will have a significant impact on our company's financial operations. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. They should also have a deep understanding of inventory management, tax, finance, internal controls, and month-end close processes. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing and improving our financial performance. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
2. Developing and implementing financial strategies to support our company's goals.
3. Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and internal financial policies.
4. Managing and maintaining our physical inventory system to ensure accurate financial reporting.
5. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
6. Leading month-end close processes and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
7. Collaborating with other team members to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
8. Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller or in a similar role within the Manufacturing sector of the Engineering industry.
3. Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
4. Proficient in managing inventory, tax, finance, and internal controls.
5. Exceptional knowledge of month-end close processes.
6. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
