Our client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company located north of Denver is seeking a Controller to fill a key role on the Accounting Team. Primary Responsibilities of the Controller:
- Oversight and responsibility for all aspects of corporate accounting operations, including overseeing month-end close processes, consolidated financial reporting activities, management of fixed assets, inventory management, cost accounting methodologies, and management of AP/AR functions.
- Provide the Team leadership, supervision, and mentoring
- Develop and implement compliance strategies and procedures to mitigate financial risks and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. Regularly review and update these models to ensure accuracy and relevance to business operations.
Desired Qualifications of the Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Advanced degree a plus - CPA or MBA
- A minimum 4+ years of experience in a progressive corporate accounting role
- Experience in manufacturing required
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on-site
Salary range $135k-$145k with bonus potential and strong comprehensive benefits
