As a Controller for our financial services client, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining financial stability and driving growth within our organization.

We are seeking a dynamic professional who can excel in a fast-paced environment. The Controller will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate insights to senior management
  • Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard financial assets and maintain compliance with industry regulations
  • Collaborating with external auditors and regulators to facilitate audits and examinations
  • Leading and mentoring a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Evaluating and optimizing financial processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role preferably within a financial services environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Work Model:
Hybrid with only 1-2 days in office work per week

Compensation:
$130,000 - $140,000 with bonus potential based on company performance
