CONTROLLER
The Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, accuracy, and compliance within our organization. To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following standards and requirements:

Financial Operations and Leadership
  • Lead and execute a seamless month, quarter, and year-end accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines consistently.
  • Demonstrate a track record of developing and implementing efficient workflows for accounting processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policies and requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Drive multi-business unit and multi-currency financial reporting initiatives, including the consolidation of financial statements across various entities.
  • Coordinate multi-company financial reporting activities to provide comprehensive insights into the overall financial performance of the organization.
  • Maintain the 2024 financial budget, and work to build an even stronger budget process later this year in preparation for the roll out of the 2025 budget in Q4.
  • Operational Collaboration and Communication
  • Expertly collaborate cross-functionally, building robust relationships with stakeholders to align operational activities with financial objectives. Drive transparency and communication, serving as a liaison between departments to enhance financial performance and achieve organizational goals.
  • Cultivate and empower the Accounting Team, overseeing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions. Serve as a dynamic leader, fostering a positive and motivated work environment within the accounting department.
  • Collaborate with HR to accurately record payroll and employee expenses using third-party software solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant internal policies.
  • Extensive experience collaborating closely with business systems personnel to manage and govern data effectively, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across financial operations.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Possess a deep understanding of advanced ERP systems, particularly in the context of manufacturing operations.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of the flow of JOB transactions through the Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet, including their impact on financial statements. Proficiently reconcile discrepancies and analyze variances, providing clear explanations and actionable insights to stakeholders. Leverage analytical skills and financial acumen to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Efficiently organize and communicate all financial reporting requirements to senior management, facilitating timely reviews and discussions on budget performance and strategic financial decisions.
  • Compliance and Oversight
  • Improve and maintain the tracking mechanisms for company fixed assets, debt roll forwards, and lease roll forwards, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards, applying them effectively to financial reporting and lease management processes.
  • Oversee borrowing base reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead and manage the annual audit process, as well as bank audits, coordinating with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful audit outcomes.
  • Confidentiality and Integrity
  • Comfortably work in a private company setting, adept at handling confidential information with utmost discretion and integrity.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degreed in Accounting, CPA/MBA is a plus but not required.
  • 10 years work experience in full cycle accounting.
