About the Company and Opportunity:
- CFS is working with a highly successful manufacturer to identify a Controller.
- The Controller position offers long-term stability and growth within the company.
- The controller will have two direct reports: AP Specialist and Staff Accountant.

Overview of the Controller role:
- Prepare annual and department budgets, financial forecasts
- Complete month-end close journal entries, reconciliations, and review
- Prepare standard costs and variance analysis
- Direct and analyze physical inventory, conduct inventory control
- Coordinate and communicate with external auditors
- Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, MBA or CPA preferred
- Minimum five years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry or public accounting
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with a major ERP, Netsuite is a major plus.
- Team player, ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels of an organization
