Responsibilities of the Controller
- The Controller will perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Management & review of nonaccountant (performing payroll entry, AP, working with apps that sync into Quickbooks to post sales journal entries, Positive Pay)
- Divvy (BILL Expense & Spend) credit card management
- Fathom reports (all data syncs
- Help creating and inputting budget into QuickBooks
- The Controller will oversee 1099 reporting and sales tax exempt certificates
- Journal Entry accruals
- Reconciling tips payable
- Coordinate with tax accountant
- The Controller will coordinate with owners on 5 year strategic plan
Qualifications of the Controller
- 5+ years experience in high level Accounting
- The Controller must be proficient with QuickBooks online
- A "get things done" mentality
