Position: Control Engineer

Job Description:
The career level senior process engineer is responsible for Program Execution for Machine Controls and Robotics. Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment.
Top Requirements:
- Required 5-7 years of experience as a controls/ robotics engineer
- Experience in PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet, and or Devicent networks
- Demonstrated basic understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process
- Experience in Fanuc robot setup and programming
- Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment.
- installation, successful launch, and continuous improvement of the Plant Floor systems (PFS)
- Experience in Fanuc robot s setup and programming
- Problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Ability to design and trouble shoot electrical controls systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple challenging projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results.
- Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others.
- Proven ability in project management skills
- Multiple different manufacturing controls and/or robotics assignments with successful individual achievements
- Ability to use computer, interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and learn new systems.
