Synergy ECP is currently searching for a Contracts Manager for our corporate office located in Columbia, MD. This position reports to the Director of Contracts and is responsible for providing contract administration for Federal Government and Commercial contracts. Reviews solicitations, proposals, bids, contracts, contract modifications, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracting agreements and other contracts related documents. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with contracting officers, subcontracts administrators and internal stakeholders. Oversight and administration of Federal Government, Commercial customer contracts; and program subcontracts portfolio from inception through closeout. Work under general supervision to identify and provide recommendations of contractual risks, manage changes to the contract baseline, and develop solutions to both routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.
Complete RFP reviews for compliance and risk assessments.
Responsible for contract set ups in financial systems.
Initiate and Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), Subcontracts, Modifications and Requests for Proposal to Subcontractors.
Provide support to the contracts team to help complete data calls and other tasks.
Use contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for engagements.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure proper contract value, funded value, timekeeping, billing, and any other financial requirements are met, and contractual deliverables are submitted on time. Requirements Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Working knowledge of contract concepts and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) and other Federal regulations.
Experience analyzing complex agreements (NDAs, TAs, Terms & Conditions, etc.).
Ability to learn and apply of company policies and procedures quickly.
Ability to build relationships, both internally and externally.
Ability to adjust quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
Demonstrate discretion and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a team environment while also being able to work independently with limited oversight.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe.
Current Security Clearance preferred or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
