As a Contracts Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all contracts are handled efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. As a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of contract management, from initiation to execution, ensuring that all contracts meet company standards and comply with laws and regulations.
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with clients, suppliers, and other external entities.
  • Coordinating with various departments, including sales, finance, and legal, to ensure that all contract terms are clearly defined and understood.
  • Identifying potential risks and issues within contracts and proposing effective solutions.
  • Developing and implementing effective contract management strategies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members on matters related to contract management.
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of products and services as per contract terms.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Contracts Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify potential risks and issues within contracts.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
