Job Details

Join our Tactical Solutions (TS) contracts department as a Contracts Specialist. This individual contributor role involves hands-on contract negotiation and administration throughout the entire contract life cycle, from pre-proposal to closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and administer contracts for various programs, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with department colleagues, cross-functional teams, program personnel, and key customers.
  • Assist the Senior Manager in reviewing contracts and related documents, assessing risk, recommending mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • BS/BA in a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience. Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) may substitute for experience (each higher-level degree may substitute for two years of experience). Relevant technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degrees must be from accredited institutions.
  • Experience with government and commercial contracts (domestic and international desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), particularly in intellectual property, government property, proposal formation, and negotiations.
  • Proficiency with cost reimbursable, award fee, incentive fee, and Firm Fixed Price contracts.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Business-related Master's degree.
  • CPCM certification.
  • Experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) and major Aerospace primes.
