Our client, a highly reputable healthcare institute in the Elkins Park area, is seeking a number of contract Patient Service Representatives to join their growing team. If you are looking to utilize your healthcare and patient-focused experience, this is the position for you.
About You:
- 1+ year of patient services experience
- 1+ year of healthcare experience is required
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Vibrant communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Prior experience utilizing EHR systems required, NextGen is preferred
Day to Day:
- Greet a high volume of incoming patients
- Register patients for their appointments and book follow-up appointments
- Enter patient charges accurately and verify sensitive information
- Collect demographic information and process insurance verifications
- Ensure an ideal patient experience by providing timely and empathetic service
This contract opportunity is the perfect fit for a customer service professional with healthcare experience who enjoys working closely with patients. This position is paying up to $20/hour depending on experience.
