Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Contract LPN/Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team
- Assist with the implementation of care plans and rehabilitation programs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, treatments, and preventive measures
Qualifications:
- Current LPN or RN license in the state of Nebraska
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
- CPR certification (BLS)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends as needed
