Contract Auditor III with Security Clearance

Job Description As a Contract Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting a post-award audit plan for 3-5 audits of varying complexity in support of the mission. Click APPLY to be contacted about this position What You Will Be Doing : Tracking progress on a milestone tracker and briefing the supervisor and manager bi-monthly on their audits' progress. Preparing a written report and exhibiting it for supervisor and manager review using office templates detailing contactor claimed costs and audit findings. Collecting and reviewing information concerning contractor business practices and prior audit findings from in-house permanent files and/or discussions with contractor. Collecting, compiling, and analyzing contract cost data from accounting records and in-house files to identify risk areas (risk assessment) for transaction testing against contractor policies, supporting documentation, contract terms, and government regulations. Performing audits using office templates in accordance with office policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Creating audit workpaper package using in-house templates.
