Required Skills:
- Five or more years of overall experience in contract or program management.
- Experience working with contract regulations and agreements.
Desired Skills:
- Experience managing or reviewing regulatory agreements/contracts related to FERC and/or CPUC regulatory tariffs.
- Bachelor s Degree.
- Electric Utility Industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex grid interconnection agreements to client's transmission and distribution systems, from contract execution through termination.
- Act as the primary point of contact to external and internal customers on the project and contractual matters.
- Operates in a project management capacity.
- Regularly interacts with customers to provide landmark updates/guidelines, contract interpretation, project updates, etc., throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leads meetings, develop agendas, summarizes and documents decisions and action items, and tracks project landmarks.
- Draft various contractual-related documents, including amendments to existing interconnect agreements, consent to assignments, termination notices, default notices, initial sync notices, and permission to operate notices.
- Applies technical and contractual knowledge to solve problems and customer requests and move projects through contract milestones and achieve PTO.
- Participates in technical discussions with engineering and project managers.
