We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consumer Lending Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our consumer lending operations, including residential mortgages and credit. This role will play a crucial part in the company's success by ensuring the smooth running of our lending operations, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of consumer lending operations, including loan processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
3. Manage and coordinate the work of the consumer lending operations team to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications.
4. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
5. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement best practices for loan origination and servicing.
6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
7. Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the consumer lending operations.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Lead and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer lending operations, with a focus on residential mortgages and credit.
3. Proven experience in appraisal, funder, and CPI.
4. Strong knowledge of consumer lending laws and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and lending software applications.
10. Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or similar certification is a plus.
