WHAT YOU'LL DO
Consulting Team Talent Managers act as holistic owners of the Consulting Team employment experience with a close focus on casework pipeline management and the deployment of our consulting staff. Talent Managers own the process of landing an appropriate team of consultants to execute individual projects, while driving the overall objectives of the business (e.g., team balance and staff utilization). In addition, this role operates as a team member of the larger consulting talent community in North America.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • Leading the staffing process for individual long & short term projects, from partnering with leadership on case context and needs to identifying, connecting, and confirming the right consulting resources for each individual opportunity
  • Optimizing team designs across projects as needed, in line with view of overall project pipeline, balancing business priorities with specific staff needs
  • Serving as a thought partner to project team leadership in evaluating options during the staffing process, understanding the impact on team/client economics and balance, and thoughtfully adhering to regional policies and guidelines
  • Partnering with our global services teams to ensure proper and timely execution of all staffing functions, including data capture across our full pipeline of casework and consulting cohort deployment
  • Collaborating with other functions at relevant points of intersection (Finance, Career Development, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, etc.)
  • Ensuring all staff have fair access to all opportunities; partner with diversity network owners and mentors to drive inclusion for individuals, including proactive retention based on individual needs
  • Leveraging digital tools and appropriately influencing at the local level to ensure adoption and consistency
  • Coordinating inputs and outputs with a diverse group of stakeholders at various levels of seniority; work as a team contributor within local, system, regional, and global staffing structures to ensure day-to-day outcomes are in line with policies
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, PhD, etc.) preferred
  • Prior experience at a consulting firm, in HR, Consulting, Talent, or Finance role is preferred
  • 5+ years' total work experience

YOU'LL WORK WITH

In this role, you will partner with Talent Senior Managers and the local office Business Management Senior Director to support the consulting cohorts, focusing on the needs of the firm, cohort and individuals.

Compensation Information:

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
