Construction Technician - Lansing or Detroit, MIDISHER is currently partnering with a civil engineering, design, and construction firm. In this role you will get to work alongside the Project Manager in all aspects of the job and provide construction engineering services. As a Construction Technician, you will get to work on the job site and/or in the project office.

What you'll get to do:- Develop technical project reports and technical memorandums
- Assist with development of project work plans
- Assist in cost estimating
- Maintain records or oversees recording of information by others to ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented
- Assist with quality control plans
- Inspections to ensure that it complies with plans, specifications, health and safety guidelines
- Assure the quality control plans are followed
- Assist with quality control process for submittals
- Support efforts to develop and maintain project work plans
- Communicate on task status and support internal project communication
What will make you successful:- Minimum 1 year relevant experience to this industry
- Associates Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
- Experience with MicroStation
- Experience as a Field Manager
$20 - $25 an hour
