Construction Technician

As a Construction Technician, you will construct the shell of the unit and put all necessary components into the unit after the unit has gone through the welding department. What We Offer $17.50 per hour, starting pay 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services 401k Opportunity for advancement Referral program What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Trade school training, preferred 1+ year(s) of construction experience preferred 5+ years of experience using hand tools/power tools 2+ years of experience assembling industrial equipment or HVAC units preferred 1+ year(s) of reading blueprints, schematics, or diagrams Previous experience using tools Ability to stoop and bend Must provide your own tools Mechanical aptitude What You'll Do as a Construction Technician Construct the shell of the HVAC unit Put all necessary components, such as blowers, coils, bulkheads, and compressors, in the unit Fasten the unit once the components have been set into place Read blueprints and schematics to build HVAC units Perform other tasks as assigned
