Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the overall management and performance of a construction branch within our organization. This position involves, safety compliance, financial performance, estimating, personnel management, and sales. This position is located in Phoenix, AZ and relocation will be paid for. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions when necessary. Provide leadership and direction to the branch team, delegating responsibilities as appropriate. Develop and manage budgets for branch operations, projects, and personnel. Implement cost control measures and optimize resource allocation. Develop and execute strategies to expand the branch's customer base and market share. Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Review and approve project estimates and bids, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project records. Build and uphold the branch's reputation as a trusted and reliable construction partner. Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities for branch personnel. Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Proven experience in construction management, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Financial acumen and budget management experience. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Finance, or other. Previous experience in a branch management or P&L responsibility role. Familiarity with construction-specific software and technology. Strong network and relationships within the construction industry.
