A bit about us:We're a nationally ranked General Contractor based in Austin, TX with 50+ years of establishment specializing in building a wide-variety of large scale projects that include Class A Corporate Offices, Education & Higher Ed, Healthcare, Multifamily/Mixed-Use, Commercial, and Hospitality projects throughout numerous states.
We're looking to make a long-term addition to the team by adding a Lead Superintendent.
For reference, upcoming projects include a large Corporate Office Building in South Texas and an 800-bed County Jail in Midland, TX.

Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team. This role is ideal for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for building. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. This role involves a high level of responsibility and requires a candidate with a strong work ethic and exceptional leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage all construction activities.
2. Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction team members, subcontractors, and consultants.
3. Develop and implement construction schedules and project plans.
4. Ensure all construction operations are in compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
5. Manage the procurement of tools and materials needed for project execution.
6. Regularly inspect project sites to ensure safety standards and quality control measures are upheld.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
8. Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process.
9. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders.
10. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting team collaboration and efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Superintendent role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in managing a variety of ground-up construction projects.
4. Extensive knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
5. Experience with construction software programs.
6. Proficiency in interpreting and implementing construction plans and blueprints.
7. Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
8. Strong understanding of construction safety laws and regulations.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
10. Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
