Equipment Operators Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Operate equipment per plan and quality specifications as instructed by crew foreman / superintendent to ensure daily schedules / estimates are met. - Operator asphalt paving and milling equipment (Asphalt / Concrete Pavers, Asphalt Rollers, Mills, Barco Mill, Street Sweepers, Tractor Brooms, Widening Box). - We will develop the right individuals that have some experience. - Labor on construction projects as needed. - Minor service / maintenance on equipment if applicable. Laborers Principal Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in, roadway, excavation, parking lot, sidewalks, and infrastructure projects. - Safely and correctly direct multi-directional traffic with appropriate signage - Lay asphalt and mix, pour and smooth out to even out potholes or ditches. - Assists in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix. - Assist in installing various pipes and drains on construction projects. - Installing traffic control devices. - Minor service / maintenance on equipment. - Safely flag construction projects. - Good communication while flagging.Do you want a rewarding job? Willing to train the right individuals. - Safety conscious. - Able to work as a team or independently. - Formal training or certifications relevant to position is a plus. - Valid driver's license. Laborers & Equipment Operator Physical & Mental Demands: - Local travel traditionally. - Required overtime. - Seasonal layoffs. - Extensive physical activity. - Must work outdoors and in all weather conditions / terrain. - Could be asked to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
