Construction Safety Specialist

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Construction Safety Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Brooklyn Park, MN. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Range: $67-107/hr

Contract until end of year with possible extension or conversion

100% onsite

Job Description:

Ensure project compliance with internal and external Environmental, Safety and Health requirements.

Provide technical EHS support for day-to-day operations within site pertaining to Project Scope.

Build and maintain relationships across all trades and contractors to help ensure a high level of engagement in the EHS management system

Keep the project site in compliance with EHS regulations as well as compliance with company EHS policies.

Perform regular inspections of site conditions and activities including scaffolding, working at heights, permit work and other high-risk activities daily.

Identify, analyse, and ensure control of project hazards and aspects.

Schedule and perform EHS inspections and audits.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED

Construction safety experience
