Ben Bridge Jeweler's Corporate office in Seattle is looking to hire a Construction Project Manager to join tour team. This is an in-office position. Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with Director of Facilities and Construction, Corporate Associates, Store Managers, Store Assistant Managers, Store Associates, VP and Executives, make decisions and monitor the progress of the project to keep it on schedule. Important responsibilities for a Project Manager include: Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Communicating with Director of Facilities and Construction to keep the project aligned with Company goals Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Performing creation of all project schedules, including all milestones Maintaining project schedules and targeted opening dates A Project Manager requires both hard and soft skills to excel in the position, including: Interpersonal skills Decisiveness Problem-solving skills Time management skills Project cost management Primary Purpose: The primary duty of the Construction Project Manager Level 1 is to provide professional and administrative services associated with the planning, coordinating, design, and construction of routine projects under the direction of the Director of Facilities and Construction; including assessment of existing facilities and post-construction evaluation. The incumbent is responsible for providing customer support, management, and oversight, as liaison for capital projects and construction projects. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and adhering to project budgets and schedules to assure completion of projects on time and on budget, ensuring company design standards are maintained, and directing and overseeing the work of architects, other consultants, and contractors. Act as Company's Representative with primary responsibility for all phases of various related projects/program. Assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Company. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project, including the budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, Company Standards, sustainability design, QA/QC program requirements. Coordinate with the Architect, Contractor, and other project team members to meet the project objectives and resolve issues. Review all general contractor quotes, subcontractor and suppliers quotes to assure the scope is complete Review, understand, and manage procedures for handling change orders to the contract documents, monthly valuations, payment draw submissions, change orders, substitutions, etc. Document the status of the project, all meetings and correspondence as a means to properly communicate within the project team and develop the project documents. Prepare all project schedules and update schedule weekly using Microsoft Projects Assist in completion of repairs and maintenance work orders Act as Company's Representative with primary responsibility for all phases of various related projects/program. Assist in the development and management of the project strategic plans and program initiatives to meet the goals and needs of the Company. Prepare weekly project reports which include project schedule status, updated change orders and over project budget, any conflicts in the field that are responsible for added costs and photos of the project. Understanding the AIA contract documents, specifically AIA A102 and AIA A201. Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is highly preferred. 5+ years' of experience in the construction project management, including TI, design or move management projects. Able to review contractor cost estimates and value engineering proposals for validity. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills. Software requirements for this position: Fresh Service (work order system) Microsoft projects for scheduling Excel Word BlueBeam Microsoft Teams Range: $70,200 - $86,000 per year Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
