EMC Mechanical Services is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall project financials and maintaining clarity throughout the lifespan of a project.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead turnover to production.
  • Forecast project revenue.
  • Transfer information over to Billing Specialist.
  • Create and manage all purchase orders and subcontracts.
  • Build submittal logs.
  • Release and schedule equipment for delivery upon submittal approval.
  • Build schedule of values for billing.
  • Order and schedule equipment rental for field use.
  • Attend job site progress meetings.
  • Price all change orders and maintain change over logs in Sage.
  • Write all RFIs.
  • Make adjustments in accounting software as project progresses.
  • Maintain cost to complete forecasting.
  • Prepare and submit final billing.
  • Review and submit TAB report.
  • Upon project closeout, hold post-project review (PPR)
    • Go over items that Estimating missed.
    • Summarize wins and losses.
    • Review the customer's Superintendent and Project Manager's east to work with and determine priorities for future projects.
    • Collect review from EMC's Superintendent and Project Manager.
  • Follow up with customer when retainage is billed.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:
  • 10+ years of industry-related experience is required.
  • Mechanical, plumbing, and BAS/DDC system knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore.
  • Knowledge of CAD/BIM.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record is required.
  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
