Job Details

Currently they are looking to add a Project Manager with experience working on K-12 school projects or any other type of public works projects to their team out of Redlands, CA and this person should have experience working with a general contracting firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely manage projects from start to finish
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Create submittals, CPM schedules and look ahead schedules
  • Schedule and communicate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Conduct job site meetings and collaborate with the project lead and site operations crew.
  • Communicate and build relationships with owners
  • Create and submit pay estimates to owners
  • Work on the job site when necessary
  • Provide leadership and accountability in delivering project goals and metrics
  • Establish new job processes that will make the company more efficient
  • Work in a structured environment
  • Some estimating skills. Will train

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a construction Project Manager & experience on public works projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Full comprehension of construction blueprints and specifications
  • Experience managing construction projects successfully from start to finish
  • Experience working with owners and subcontractors
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
  • Experience working with owners and subcontractors
  • Valid driver's license
