A bit about us:

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Permanent Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing commercial construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, managing project schedules, and ensuring all work is in compliance with building codes and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for preparing and managing project budgets and cost estimates. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise and experience in the construction industry.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management from planning to implementation.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
3. Manage project schedules and ensure all work is completed on time.
4. Ensure all work is in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
5. Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates.
6. Supervise construction staff and subcontractors.
7. Evaluate and mitigate project risks.
8. Manage and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Report and escalate issues to management as needed.

Qualifications:

1. 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial construction.
2. Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering preferred.
3. 2+ years of supervisory experience in a construction setting.
4. 5+ years in a construction project management position.
5. Experience in construction estimating.
6. Proven track record of managing large scale commercial construction projects from start to finish.
7. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
8. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. Proficiency in project management software tools.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
12. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
13. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
