Job Description

The Construction Project Manager assists with managing all phases of a project including planning, design, construction, technology, and occupancy. They may also have full ownership and responsibility for smaller, less complex projects This position provides overall structure for new store openings, renovations and closures.

Responsibilities
- Assist with managing all phases of a project including planning, design, construction, technology, and occupancy.
- Compile project budgets and schedules.
- Read and understand documents defining project, including but not limited to: agreements, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, budgets, schedules, and drawings.
- Source and manage local GC's and or subcontractors, specialty vendors, architectural, and engineers.
- May have full ownership and responsibility for smaller, less complex projects.
- Responsible for managing the project timeline, identifying the critical path, and ensuring the project team meets all deliverables.
- Provide overall structure for new store openings, renovations and closures.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks.
- Follow up with team members to track milestones and close out action items.
- Signage - work with Marketing to assure that all signage inside and outside are displayed.
- On-site problem solving through creative solutions.
- Budget, schedule and execute daily projects.
- Conduct new store opening meetings and keep NSO report updated.
- Evaluate opening process and provide solutions to drive performance and mitigate barriers affecting ramp to opening.
- Responsible for managing completion by approved trades for all facilities management work order requests submitted by stores.
- Complete special projects as requested.

Skills and Knowledge
Excellent organization skills: the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently., Excellent verbal and written communication skills., Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

Experience opening independent and chain, small box retail stores a plus; Knowledge of building codes; Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team; Must be willing to travel for 30% of the job, as needed; Passion for Rally House success; Ability to interact comfortably and effectively in front of groups; Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow through skills; Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn other software programs quickly; NetSuite is a plus; Must be a self-starter with good initiative; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proven time management skills. Works well with timelines and deadlines.

Work is performed in office and retail construction environments and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Required to stand and walk; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; differentiate colors. Must have the ability to lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items up tp 25lbs, and to walk short distances.
