Job Details:
Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is integral to the successful planning, design, and execution of our construction projects across various sectors including municipal, healthcare, and commercial. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from initial planning to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and adheres to the preset quality standards. The candidate will be expected to liaise with various stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and will be responsible for managing the project team and ensuring all safety regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle managing project development from initiation to closure.
  • Work with project stakeholders to establish project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and manage project resources.
  • Manage budget allocation and ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, and local and state regulations are met.
  • Implement project communication plan and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that occur during the construction process.
  • Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
  • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction project management role.
  • Proven experience in managing municipal, healthcare, and commercial construction projects.
  • Prior self-perform construction experience for trades such as carpentry and concrete a plus
  • Prior design-build experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and build strong teams.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Understanding of construction laws and regulations.
