Our team is looking for an Construction Project Manager to join our team in Colorado. Duties and Responsibilities Planning, budgeting, and scheduling for owner's representative assignments. Contract administration of design and construction firms in owner's representative assignments. Project coordination and quality control during the construction or abatement phases of projects. Written correspondence and record keeping for projects assigned. Client communications for progress reporting, project coordination, and contract administration. Completion of assigned projects within in-house budgets for labor and expenses. Keeping abreast of technology and state-of-the-art procedures in the construction and environmental industries. Maintaining client relationships including proper completion of contract requirements, and generating repeat business. Identification of new business opportunities through existing or new personal contacts. Preparation of invoices, contracts and proposals in accordance with company procedures and guidelines. Successful completion of projects and delivery of project closeouts/warranties. Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed. Project oversight and quality control during the abatement phase of removal projects. Performance of asbestos surveys. Preparation of bidding documents, plans and specifications for asbestos removal projects. Supervise and mentor junior environmental staff. Drafting supervision for project drawings. Preparation of proposals for new business opportunities. Supervision of subcontractors and employees on assigned projects. Minimum Requirements Minimum of five (5) years of construction/project management experience. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent related combination of education and work experience. OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training highly desirable. Knowledge of Colorado -based design and construction market is a plus Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and/or PMP certificate highly desirable, but not necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Project. Knowledge of and experience using various Contract Management Platforms and Primavera (P6) software is a plus. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with little or no direct supervision in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to manage large and complex projects, with support from team members, with multiple stakeholders. Comprehensive understanding and application of project management principles, processes, and procedures. Proficient leadership skills, including effective conflict management and influencing. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction projects, including feasibility, estimating, and scheduling. Ability to multi-task, solve problems and successfully deliver projects is critical. $70,000 - $90,000 a year Pay is commensurate with years of experience, skills and education.
