Position Summary: The Project Coordinator is responsible for processing, administering and organizing all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Project Manager. The goal is flawless execution of the project. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information. Communicating with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope & objectives. Ensuring that clients' needs are met as the project evolves. Assists in preparing project proposals, timeframes, schedules and budget. Issues all appropriate legal paperwork as directed by the Project Manager. Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports. Assists with project follow-up to ensure jobs are complete on time, on budget while meeting or surpassing customer's expectations. Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team. Coordinate with accounting department to ensure vendor invoices are processed timely and accurately and checks are issued to vendors. Assist in preparation, delivery and tracking of all change orders and subcontracts. Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing and other duties as assigned. Ensures a safe working environment and full compliance with all Omni, OSHA, State and Local standards. Other duties as assigned. Associates degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience - Preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills - Required Knowledgeable and able to work effectively with project blueprints - Required Proficient in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation - Required Strong attention to detail - Preferred Able to meet the attendance requirements - Required Able to work professionally with others - Required Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite - Required Able to follow instructions - Required Able to operate various types of office equipment - Required Self-directed and able to prioritize tasks - Required Ability to multi-task - Required Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
