Job Title: Construction Manager, Water/WasteWater Job Description As a Construction Manager, you will plan, manage, and oversee multiple small to medium-sized construction projects of a routine to moderately complex nature or a single large project. This position also includes coordinating and controlling all construction management activities, including critical path method (CPM), scheduling, and claims administration. You will interpret plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and field personnel, as well as coordinate and disseminate shop drawings to project stakeholders. The role also entails documenting deficiencies, expected cost overruns, materials issues, and other related construction risks. Additionally, you will participate with sales staff, practice leaders and project managers in developing new opportunities for business. Work Environment This role involves overseeing day-to-day activities of construction representatives and construction coordinators on projects. You will become familiar with project contract documents for each project and provide internal consultation to construction representatives. In addition, you will be expected to review government or funding agency regulations to provide consultative services that reflect up-to-date legal requirements. Regular reporting is a part of this role, including preparing monthly progress reports and maintaining daily reports of construction activities.
