We're currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager I located in Harrisburg, PA .

Overview:
The current opportunity and subject of this posting is anticipated to be eighteen (18) months to twenty-four (24) months in duration and located between Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.

Required Education:
•  Preferable that candidates have four (4) years in architectural or engineering studies from an accredited institution with an understanding of construction protocols and procedures for safety, quality, labor relationships, and coordination of the work of other firms. OR
•  Candidates with two (2) years of on-the-job training, with relevant studies in building codes and procedural steps.
Required Qualifications:

In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
•  Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
•  Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes and requirements
•  Demonstrated experience with civil design, and construction management for commercial facilities.
•  Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form.
•  Ability to be self-directed, organized, and prioritize tasks.
•  Ability to effectively coordinate activities with other jurisdictions, consultants, utility companies, and company staff.
•  Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, the general public, and others.
•  An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an aggressive and rapidly growing firm is a must.
Responsibilities:
•  Assist the Construction Manager with design inquiries and other design coordination items.
•  Assist with ad-hoc technical meetings.
•  Assist with tracking design issues, documenting decisions, design change coordination, and design exceptions.
•  Assist with permitting efforts.
•  Assist with assessing cost impacts, cost estimating efforts and budget refinements.
•  Assist with general Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) coordination.
•  Assist with general Safety and Security, Facilities Management, Operations and other internal agency coordination.
•  Coordinate with Project Administrator for appropriate project record keeping and files.
•  Participate in regular project meetings.
Salary:
•  $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
