Job DetailsAn Estimator can expect to be assisting with take-offs and obtaining, analyzing, and coordinating bids from suppliers and subcontractors. You will also be involved with the process for buyouts, contract awards, and budgets for multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years estimating experience in the residential or commercial sector.
- Strong knowledge estimating techniques, cost control measures and material pricing is required.
- Ability to calculate mathematical extensions, read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts and cost coding systems is essential.
- Ability to read construction plans, documents, and specifications and comprehend what needs to be accomplished.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam and Timberline (Sage) Estimating experience is a plus.
