Territory: Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION Promote and support the sale of Kubota Construction Equipment (CE) by providing product and competitive sales information to dealer network, personnel within assigned district team, and division to maximize their potential for success and increase Company sales. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines: Principle Construction Equipment subject matter expert to Division & District teams/markets for dealer development, product knowledge, and industry trends. Work within district and regional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop effective action/business plans for Construction Equipment dealers/markets to include filling open points, market share performance, facility optimization, dealer mergers & acquisitions, and service & sales department staffing. Develop, prepare, and deliver product and compatible attachment & technology training to impart product knowledge, industry trends, and other competitive information to dealer, district team, and division personnel in order to maximize their potential for success. Perform equipment demonstrations for dealers and customers. Train dealer personnel to demonstrate equipment to customers. Allocate equipment to Construction Equipment dealers within assigned district team and division, to ensure adequate inventory commensurate with sales demand. Participate in local and national trade shows to promote assigned products and increase brand awareness. Gather and analyze industry and competitive sales information to make recommendations for strategies to increase Company sales on assigned products. May write and distribute a regular newsletter to assigned dealer network to inform dealers MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field OR 5+ years Construction Equipment industry related experience. 2-5 years merchandising/marketing knowledge and experience preferred. Successful sales experience in the Construction Equipment Industry preferred. Knowledge of the Construction Equipment industry. Knowledge, skill, and ability to safely operate assigned Construction Equipment. Proficiency using Microsoft Suite & Google Suite software Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Excavators, Track Loaders, Stand on Compact Loaders, TLB units, Wheel Loaders, and Skid Steer Loaders. Office equipment including computer, copier, phone, printer. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Office Environment - This position will require walking, standing, and sitting at a computer. Trade Shows & Training Events - This position will require long periods of standing, setup & removal of show equipment, and loading of equipment on tractor trailers.
