Construction Coordinator Pay Range $26-$36/hr Paid WEEKLY Construction Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating engineering related items between suppliers (including third parties), subcontractors, and Engineer of Record. Assist with scheduling work coordination and tracking percentage completion of work. Oversight of document control management for tracking all drawings. Review of subcontractor change order requests and potential back charge items. Writing and assisting discipline managers with preparation of request for information documents (RFI). Responsible for following all aspects of specifications. Assist project management in working with customers. The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. Construction Coordinator Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field of study is recommended. A minimum of 5 years of field experience can also be substituted for the degree. Must be familiar with AISC and OSHA requirements. Must be detail oriented. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Primavera, Procore and Viewpoint Spectrum. Construction Coordinator Physical Demands: Some overtime is required to meet deadlines. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally. Requires long periods of sitting. Must be able to travel to or stay at off-site jobs. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
