Job Details Division: Nucor Corporation Location: Charlotte, NC, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: The Construction Civil Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Nucor Construction and Division capital project teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning, directing, and coordinating civil, foundation and structural installation activities for the construction group. Assisting with developing civil, foundation and structural designs and requests for proposals Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal & external vendors/contracting partners Contributing to Nucor Enterprise-wide civil and structural installations Working with construction engineering firms and installation contractors to design the safest, most cost-effective systems and installation procedures. Work with OEM's, engineering firms and contracting partners to stay current with the latest technologies and solutions. Must be willing to work before and after regularly scheduled work hours as business conditions warrant. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
