Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Construction Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will identify and target potential customers within the construction industry, including heavy civil, bridge, highway and rail contractors. Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand the customer base, and maximize market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
  • Construction sales representatives need to have in-depth knowledge about the products or services they are selling. This could include construction materials, equipment, tools, or even construction services.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients is essential. This involves understanding their needs, providing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Repeat business and referrals are often crucial in the construction industry.
  • Qualify and nurture leads through the sales funnel
  • Manage and maintain a database of prospects and customers in a CRM system
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement lead generation strategies
  • Conduct research on target accounts to understand their business needs and pain points
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and performance metrics
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential customers
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitors

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English language skills at either the B2 or C1 level is required.
  • English Resume is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of prospecting and Lead Generation within the construction area, client engagement, and quoting and proposal Creation.
  • Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales results
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and driven to succeed
