Job Summary: The Project Manager will be leading and managing all aspects of assigned project work both from an administrative and financial aspect as well as planning and tracking with strong skills in planning, organizing & reporting. You are expected to supervise tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure that every aspect of the project is completed on time. Project managers must also be able to foresee potential blockers and find proper solutions to mitigate or eliminate them so that they don't impede a project's success. The duties of the Project Manager will include working with other team members, clients, and contractors to support the evaluation, design, engineering, and execution/construction of projects. Responsibilities will include analysis, design, contract document development, shop drawing review, construction site observation, etc. The Project Manager will be expected to lead tasks and assist in the development of junior team members and put emphasis on development in the area of design standards and work practices. The Project Manager needs to display strong skills in leadership, teamwork and collaboration. Job Description: Serve as the lead on multiple concurrent projects and ensure appropriate knowledgeable persons and skill sets are included in the project. Ensure the work is performed in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget. Prepare project specifications as needed to suit each project. Coordinate with the civil, process mechanical, structural, architectural, HVAC and instrumentation and control disciplines to ensure a well-integrated project. Coordinate with subconsultants (where applicable) and review their work to maintain quality standards. Perform production work (AutoCAD and Revit) as required to complete projects or assign resources to do so. Conduct site visits to project sites as required from project conception through construction and execution. Complete construction administration tasks including review of Shop Drawings, replies to Requests for Information, Change Order requests and similar tasks. Witness factory testing with appropriate team members as required for a given project. Monitor and participate in field testing and start-up. Ensure that client expectations are met and QA/QC procedures are followed resulting in a quality product. Perform QA/QC review of the work completed by others. Skills, competences, and knowledge to perform the work: Master of Science in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) or equivalent At least 10 years in projects engineering experience especially front-end design such as PFD, P&ID and HAZOP Proficient in English language (spoken, read & write) Good Spanish language (spoken, read & write) preferred. MS Office - Excel proficiency a plus MS Projects - P6 knowledge & proficiency is a plus. Good knowledge and experience of cost estimating software utilization. Good knowledge and experience of CAD software utilization Customer, detail & results orientated. Excellent stakeholder management on various levels. Support the development of detailed cost estimating at the various FEL (Front End Loading) levels to ensure the correct estimate class is attained. Knowledge in development and application of project controls to ensure proper implementation of scope changes - monitoring, documents management, weekly/monthly reporting, etc. Knowledge & experience of contracting and contract management and with different types of contracting strategies. Knowledge & experience in risk modeling / Risk Assessment. Expert knowledge of relevant industry standards and practices (e.g. API, NFPA, PIANC, OSHA etc.) Expert knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, Project Management Experience Knowledge and experience on construction and operational safety Excellent knowledge of project controls to manage scope, budget, time and risk. Experience managing multi-discipline engineering projects where complex interface management might be required. Experience of engineering, procurement, contracting and construction Support the development of detailed engineering design, including specification, standards, technology concepts, equipment and materials, operating parameters, IT, utilities, and interfaces. Ensure full compliance with permits and regulatory requirements. Remain calm and composed under pressure. Work Environment This job operates in a farm/production environment. Schedule Day Shift - 7am to 5pm Rotating Shift Overtime as needed. Weekends and after Hours as needed Physical Demands Climbing Kneeling and Crawling Reaching.
