Duties include, but are not limited to: Plan, direct, and coordinate construction and maintenance activities; develop, analyze, and direct implementation of Facility, Land, and Equipment policies and procedures; consult with the Department of Administrative Services, architects, and contractors regarding requirements and specifications on construction projects Conduct staff meetings to review progress and consider proposals Responsible for turnkey operation for all facilities Review and approve contractors and consultants submittals, work orders, cost over-runs, supply and/or equipment vouchers Conduct ongoing and final inspection of construction projects to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications Assist with development of biennium capital improvement budget request based on feasibility and priority studies Supervise staff; assign and review work; evaluate performance; approve/disapprove requests for leave What's in it for you At the State of Ohio, we take care of the team that cares for Ohioans.
