Responsibilities The Contact Center Triage RN is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and for satisfactorily completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation period that includes demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent level of performance. The Contact Center Triage RN is responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessment health education and utilization management services to a variety of patients. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory care medical clinic required. High School diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions or military training that is equivalent to an accredited Registered Nurse program (determination by Dignity Health Medical Foundation H.R. department in conjunction with the State Division of Allied Health Professions.) Clear and current CA Registered Nurse license OR Multistate Registered Nurse Compact License and willingness to obtain CA RN license w/in 60 days of hire. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential. Strong pharmacology, medical Terminology, assessment, and clinical decision making skills appropriate to the Registered Nurse Scope of practice is essential. Preferred Qualifications: One or more years of telephone/ call center triage nurse experience preferred BSN preferred Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is preferred.
