As a Configuration Manager, the individual will be responsible for the support of the IT facility space and power configuration management activities. In this role, this individual will oversee the implementation of IT projects consuming physical space and power of moderate to high complexity, report risks, identify and mitigate issues, and changes incurred. In addition, the Configuration Manager will support changes for the Infrastructure Facility Rooms (IFRs), establish relationships with internal and external project stakeholders and manage expectations to ensure project success. Responsibilities Coordinates directly with customers within the National Capital Region to adjudicate configuration management changes within the IT facilities Oversees infrastructure change requests for multiple groups of IT service providers? Assists in responding and resolving of IT-related incidents and outages Conducts space and power surveys within the IT facilities to determine if capacity is available to support change requests Prepares and submits customer change requests to GS-13 and GS-14 government leadership for adjudication and approval Provides written and verbal status reports on change requests to leadership on a weekly basis Assists Operations Manager and Facility Managers in ensuring that customer activities align with security policies and procedures Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office Required Qualifications/Education and Experience H.S. Diploma with 5 years of related experience Must have and maintain Secret Security Clearance, with potential for upgrade to the Top Secret/SCI level Strong ability to effectively track and coordinate on multiple customer IT initiatives concurrently? Ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups to oversee the implementation of IT projects Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups (i.e., managers, clients, and customers) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Visio Familiarity with IT incident resolution processes and best practices, to include coordination with multiple stakeholder groups Familiarity with JSP or similar DoD environment Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting team Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience Security+ certification or higher Equal Employment Opportunity/M/F/disability/protected veteran status
