Configuration Manager with Security Clearance

As a part of an entrepreneurial group that is building out a product line to support future missions, you will have the opportunity to investigate and implement configuration management systems that will push us and our products into the future. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity and able to draw on past experiences and a solid understanding of the problem to implement systems that uniquely meet our use cases and take advantage of existing solutions. This candidate will be capable of developing plans from scratch as well as extending existing solutions. Your project is to understand our product and roadmap and develop a configuration plan to lead us to success as we expand to multiple product lines and programs. This will include implementing new tools, expanding existing tools, and guiding the team in implementing the configuration management plan. Responsibilities: Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with Agile/SAFe development methodologies Experience with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat) Lead and perform activities to include CM action item tracking and closure; review, finalization and delivery of CM deliverables; oversee and maintain the integrity of Configuration Management (CM) Work with the team to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) Own the physical inventory of all program assets Use or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the system Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life Systems engineering efforts towards program compliance activities, lifecycle improvements, audits and formal program reviews with leadership and the customer Perform change control and configuration audits Participate in periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) meetings across all program domains including formal customer sessions and milestones for CM topics Additional responsibilities as needed by the program Own the release and change process of engineering data across multiple products Minimum Requirements: Current/active TS/SCI security clearance 5 years of experience in configuration management using product data and product lifecycle management systems
Experience in configuration and data management in a DoD industry
Experience with CM tools, especially component library management
Willingness to act as an owner Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is: $115,000.00 - $191,000.00 annually.
