We are seeking a Configuration Management Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be directly supporting the United States Coast Guard C5I Service Center, C2PL & SeaWatch Program. This role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, with up to three days per week remote and the remaining days on-site. Responsibilities:

• Assist with Configuration Management: Implement and maintain configuration management processes and procedures to ensure accurate tracking and control of project documentation, software, and hardware configurations.

• Documentation Control: Manage the creation, review, approval, distribution, and archival of project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, change requests, and test plans, adhering to established version control procedures.

• Collaborate with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers, military officials, and government employees to understand their specific configuration management needs and provide tailored support as required for their respective programs.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and reviews of project documentation and configuration items to verify compliance with configuration management policies and identify areas for improvement.

• Communication and Coordination: Assist in configuration management-related inquiries and issues, liaising between project stakeholders, technical teams as necessary to ensure effective communication and resolution of concerns.

• Ad Hoc Support: Assist project managers and team members with any additional configuration management tasks or special projects as needed to support the successful execution of Coast Guard projects under the C2PL Program. Preferred Qualifications:

• At least three (3) years of Coast Guard or Navy, Configuration Management experience

• The CMA shall be knowledgeable with SELC concepts and processes as well as the Acquisition Lifecycle.
• The CMA shall possess the ability to define provisions for configuration management planning, identification, improvement, change control, status accounting, and audits.

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting existing engineering logistics documents as well as reviewing an existing "need" based on a current requirement, assembling labor category names, hours, materials, and labor estimates.

• Experience using MS 365 & supporting applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
