Job description New Volumetric Concrete Mixing Truck Driver/Operator Florida Soil Cement is a "mix on-site" concrete supplier based in Riverview, FL, and is seeking motivated volumetric concrete truck operators/drivers to service jobsites in West Central Florida. Responsibilities Include: - Load volumetric concrete mixing truck with required aggregates, cement, additives and water. Experience operating a front end loader is a PLUS.
- Drive truck to company job sites, safely maneuvering within residential, commercial and construction areas.
- Mix concrete on job site per order requirements and approved design mix. Experience with concrete and ACCU-POUR is a PLUS.
- Communicate effectively with customers and escalate any concerns to Supervisor/Management prior to pour to avoid issues.
- Wash out mixer and chutes thoroughly after each pour in order to maintain good working condition of equipment.
- Daily cleaning and greasing of the truck is required in order to maintain a professional appearance along with other preventative maintenance activities.
- Operate front end loader, cement silo, and other related equipment.
- Assist with the replacement/repair of truck components utilizing common tools.
- Perform pre and post trip DOT inspections of truck to ensure safe operation, (i.e. fluid levels, tire pressure, fuel, lights, brakes, etc.)
- Assist with maintenance of yard and supporting equipment along with other duties as assigned.
- Preferred experience includes volumetric concrete mixing truck driver/operator, loader operator, equipment maintenance.
- Training available to person with comparable experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Requirements
Requirements: - Must possess a valid Florida CDL, minimum Class B.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years CDL driving experience.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Pass pre-employment/random DOT drug test and background check.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to spend majority of the day working outside in the hot Florida summer heat.
- Job and equipment specific training will be provided.
