Under the direction of designated staff, the CT Tech 2 can operate all CT scanners independently, can perform all scanning protocols without assistance, can operate other related equipment and knows how to assist physicians as needed to complete diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages. They are able to coordinate patient flow and produce quality images both efficiently and safely. The CT Tech 2 can work independently and has completed competencies for all CT exams and protocols. Can float to other CT scanners as workflow dictates.
